Welcome to the home learning section of the website. Given the current situation that families and schools find themselves in, we hope that this area is able to provide the support required to allow your children to continue to maintain their love of learning and desire to succeed.
As the situation progresses, we are planning to deliver our home learning in three specific stages:
1 - Initial adaptation to learning from home (19th - 29th March)
2 - Consolidation of learning from Autumn and Spring Terms (30th March - 19th April)
3 - New curriculum learning (20th April and beyond)
We anticipate that this plan will build the best chance of a solid foundation for learning key skills and finding a high level of engagement/enjoyment whilst being away from school over an extended period of time. It also provides the much needed time that staff require to ensure that the content is high quality, inclusive and accessible to all levels of learning.
Please click on the link below to access the first home learning document. In this document, you will find instructions of how to create log-ins to key websites and learning platforms.
In all cases, we do not feel that children are required to print out sheets to work on. For those who were still at school, we have been able to provide exercise books. For those self-isolating prior to this, please complete the learning on any paper/book that you possess.
In the year group folders below you will find a range of resources to be able to support your child with their learning whilst at home. The weekly packs will be uploaded periodically with a balanced content of core curriculum resources (English and Maths) and other learning activities, which may relate to topic home learning, PE, technology and other areas.
Please click on the appropriate folder to access the correct week's learning.
