Our House Captains are all year 6 pupils and they are elected by the other children in their house after presenting speeches to them all as to why they should be chosen for this very special role. Our House Ambassadors are the ‘support team’ for the House Captains and they are elected by their classmates.

Together, this fabulous pupil leadership team work alongside staff to take on key jobs and responsibilities in school such as showing round visitors, meeting with visitors to talk about their learning, gaining pupil voice from their classmates about different issues such as what to spend money on, what should be on the school lunch menu and much more. Each house also has a term where they are responsible for a fundraising initiative to raise money for a charity of their choice.

Here is a picture to introduce them to you all, although there are a couple of children missing from these photos due to absence. I will try and get them all together after half term for an updated one.

We did, however, have a full complement of House Captains proud to have their photos taken…
