Year 5 were lucky to take part in a Rainforest Day this week, led by a real explorer! Simon, who has been studying the Amazon Rainforest for 25 years, shared so many wonderful (and sometimes yucky) stories with the children and they learnt about the climate in Brazil, different animals, cultures and how the indigenous people live. It was an exciting day, packed with new information. Here are some of the new things the children have learnt from the day:
