Last week, the children continued to produce some excellent work in Year 5 and their teachers are very proud of them. In English, they have been planning and writing persuasive letters as a variety of different coloured crayons based on the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ which is always popular with the children and has been lots of fun. In Games, children have been developing their cricket and rounders skills, catching up on some of the Summer sports they missed out on before the holidays. Another highlight of the week was a maths lesson using Seesaw on the iPads, a skill which the children were then able to apply brilliantly to complete their home learning online too! What a great week year 5!
