We had a wonderful time celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee on the last day of last half term with our friends from the Infant School. We had a street party-style picnic together on the playground and then headed out onto the field afterwards for some traditional English games such as splat the rat, hook a duck and welly wanging, which were all set up and ran by our Y6 pupils. To finish off the fun, the children all received a treat from the ice cream van before heading back to their classes. Our children were super hosts for the younger children and went above and beyond to help them feel safe and welcome.
