After a very early start for breakfast (quite how we managed to get 53 children up and lined up for breakfast by 7am I am not sure) the other 2 groups faced the aerial trek challenge this morning. Miss Wood’s group tackled the multi-vines (a first for AFJS children) while Mrs Beech’s group really enjoyed the survival session building dens and starting camp fires. Next up was laser conquest, sensory trail or abseiling. We then all headed in for lunch (first group again!) before retiring to dorms for a short break ahead of this afternoon’s archery tag and climbing wall sessions. Luckily, the children managed to find a ball to borrow after someone sent ours flying over the fence yesterday, so while some are using this time to rest or play games with their friends, the rest are running around on the football pitch outside.
Group 4 abseiled down a wall this morning and climbed up one again later in the day – see the next blog post for the climbing pictures yet to come!
