Wow, what a fantastic first half term Y3 have had at Abbots Farm Junior School. There are certainly many areas of school life to celebrate and the children have already started to make many memories that will hopefully stay with them forever. This half term we have started our Ancient Britain topic by researching the lives of people in the Stone Age and have investigated how their lives changed over time. We particularly wanted to celebrate the wonderful effort that children have put into their Stone Age art project. Throughout this project, children have explored the purpose of cave art, investigated colour tones and colour mixing, explored texture and developed their techniques when using a range of media.
