Year 4 really enjoyed our trip to the New Walk Museum and Art Gallery in Leicester.   When we got there, we explored the museum.  Some of us went to the Wild Space exhibit.  Everyone loved it because of all the stuffed animals from different habitats.  Next, we went to the dinosaur exhibit and had lots of fun looking at dinosaur bones and fossils.  It was finally lunch, lots of people were starving and finally got to eat. In the afternoon, we took part in an Egyptian workshop which was really fascinating.  We explored the food that the Ancient Egyptians would have eaten.  We took part in lots of activities from dressing up in Ancient Egyptian costume, to handling artefacts to acting out the mummification process.  It was a great day!
