Lots of children (and some of the staff too) enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters this week for World Book Day. They also joined an online assembly designed to promote reading for pleasure and a love of reading. Lots of children have been enjoying Mrs Seneschall-Jones’ book club this term and have been using it as an extra chance to log additional reading nights for our reading challenge – we look forward to seeing which children receive the rewards at the end of term.
The free book vouchers were also sent out today so hopefully lots of children can now get themselves a new book to read – children, if you are reading this, don’t forget to log it in your reading records for our reading challenge! 🙂
