We had an unprecedented number of pupils from year 6 want to train to become play leaders this year and this is testament to their FARMERS FOREVER spirit and their kind, respectful natures, so how could we say no?! So here are our biggest ever group of year 6 play...
First football matches of the season
A group of year 6 pupils represented AFJS last night in the first round of this year's Primary Football league. They have not even had chance to practice as a team yet this year but they still came away with 1 win and 2 losses. They also showed excellent commitment...

Thursday at Condover
Apologies for the delay in blog posts today…we somehow got locked out of the website editing page but we are back in now! Thunder put a stop to a couple of activities late this afternoon, but the children enjoyed a quiet hour or so of rest in the cinema room instead....
A rainy afternoon at Condover
All the groups have tackled the climbing wall this afternoon as well as a variety of other activities. Some have even been lucky enough to avoid the rain at tunnelling.
A few more Wednesday morning activities
As well as rafting, the children have tackled other challenges such as Ariel trek and tunnelling this morning. They are constantly making us proud with their support and encouragement for one another and their polite, respectful behaviour too.
A morning on the lake
All 5 groups have been out on the lake this morning. They worked in teams to build their rafts and then set sail to test them out. There were not many dry children left by the end but they all had a great time and are now all dry again and off to their next activities.
The weather is still holding up at Condover
A few pictures from this afternoon’s activities. The children are either in their dorms or out on the playground at the moment before camp fire time this evening. These will be the last photos for today because it will be too dark at the camp fire.
Day 2 so far
The weather has been better than expected and the children have been enjoying their activities this morning, even though some of them are very tired after not getting much sleep last night! Group 1 and 2 have been tackling different climbing activities this morning......
Condover day 1
The children have had a great first afternoon at Condover after enjoying their lunch. They are all settled into their dorm rooms (some tidier than others!) and have now headed back out for their evening activity. We will upload pictures on here tonight for you to see...
